About Tumbling and Trampoline

Competition with T&T
Athletes can begin competing as early as four years old and at level one. Once they reach level 5 or higher and score high enough (qualifying score) they become eligible to compete at the State, Regional, or National level.

Trampoline is the only event from T&T that is currently in the Olympics, but all four events are in World Championships.Your athlete is required to compete in all events until they reach level eight on all three. At this point, they are allowed to make a choice and continue with all three or pick the two they prefer.

What is T&T
Trampoline & Tumbling (T&T) is simply a version of gymnastics, but only involves tumbling and the trampoline. It is similar to how artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics are different versions of the sport. T&T has picked up in popularity in recent years, leading to a surge of competitors in the sport and interest in its competitions.

Elements of T&T

Trampoline and Tumbling consists of four events; trampoline, synchronized trampoline, tumbling, and double-mini.
There are 3 different catagories in the Sport of T&T

Compulsory- Levels 1-7 –designed to build basics safely and progressively. Athletes are required to compete in all 3 disciplies while at a compulsory level.
Optionals- Level 8-10 and Open– Levels with additional flexibility to tailor routines to individual athletes’ strengths and preferences. It is at this level that athletes can choose to focus on 2 of the events, instead of having to train and compete all events.
Elite Level-designed to provide those athletes hoping to compete on the international stage a more challenging plan to progress to top-level performance, benchmarked against international standards.
